Catherine Seltz studied at The University of Minnesota where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Art History and Studio Arts.

Following graduation, Ms. Seltz was retained as Assistant Art Curator for Norwest Banks of Minneapolis. As curator, her responsibilities included inventory and documentation of the $2 million collection.  She was responsible for all new art acquisitions on behalf of the corporation.  Management of the exhibition’s rotation and maintenance program along with the development of educational tours for employee’s provided additional valuable experience.

Ms. Seltz relocated to Los Angeles in 1984 and joined the ranks of a high visibility art consulting firm as Director of the Corporate Art Consulting Division.  Primary responsibility was to develop and train an effective team of art consultants to meet the art demands of the local corporate community.  Executing new and innovative programs.  Ms. Seltz was able to manage and expand the corporate division to realize unparalleled success.

To meet the visual art requirements of the local corporate community Ms. Seltz established her own firm in 1987 specializing in assisting corporations, private and public, and health care organizations to develop and manage unique visual arts, acquisitions, and installation programs.  Utilizing her vast fine art knowledge and continuing business expertise, the development of an individualized art program for each client is paramount.  Ms. Seltz’s project leadership has received high professional accolades through clients such as Fluor Daniel in Aliso Viejo, CA.  The art program involved the selection of art work for Fluor’s Worldwide Headquarters six new buildings including an outdoor sculpture project, Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal and CommonWealth Partners in Los Angeles.  Ms. Seltz was also awarded the prestigious Calibre award for her outstanding selection of art for a private residence in Westwood.

With 30 years of expertise in the international art market and through continuing artist networking and professional organization participation, Ms. Seltz serves as an important liaison between the art community and the needs of the corporate business world.
